TRICKSTUFF disc brake Maxima

Good, better, Maxima...

With the Maxima, Trickstuff successfully continues the series of their top brakes. While the Direttissima already shone with brute braking power at the lowest possible weight, the new one goes one step further. The modulation has been improved again and the manual force required when braking has been significantly reduced. The result is a brake that is beyond any doubt in terms of braking power and stability and requires little effort from the driver even on long, hard and difficult descents. The core, the 4-piston brake caliper, has been completely redesigned. With larger pistons and the revised design, the braking power and stability has increased again compared to the Cleg 4 brake caliper of the Direttissima. In order to be able to transfer the higher braking force in a dosed manner, the kinematics of the levers have been trimmed for better modulation and lower operating forces. The brake levers have been provided with an enlarged reserve reservoir, have 4 ball bearings and Teflon seals, which makes operation even easier. The brake lines have also been adapted to the higher braking power. The Maxima is equipped with pressure-resistant steel flex lines and Goodridge connections, which are also particularly light at 17 grams per meter of line length. In addition to the lines, the hollow-milled brake pistons and cut-outs on the brake levers also reduce the weight to just 311 grams (filled front brake with 90 cm brake line without disc, adapter).

These guys are the BEST for bike maintenance... they really take the time to check everything, explain it to me before doing anything and letting me know what will be coming up. Such a relief as I'm not well versed in the bike maintenance world... so great to feel like it's being taken care of. Highly recommend.

Great job on a recent tune up, honest advice on parts and they charge a fair price for work performed. The techs working on your bike take pride in their work and treat them as if its their own. Will be back for all services and new bikes purchases in the future.
