Shimano’s RT86 disc brake rotors were specifically designed for use with their XT and Saint-series brakes. The sandwiched aluminum and steel construction dissipates heat more efficiently than traditional rotors to increase pad life and improve performance.
DESCRIPTION
The 3-layer sandwich construction of the RT86 rotor was designed to dissipate heat more efficiently than traditional single-material rotor which translates into more fade resistant performance, especially on long descents or in hard-braking applications.
